NEWS & EVENTS > SILICON SPIRIT AWARDED BPM/SOA GOVERNANCE PORTION OF GSA FAME eSOA CONTRACT
Reston, Va., July 26, 2010 - Silicon Spirit Consulting Group, Inc., a global business and IT consulting firm specializing in Enterprise SOA and Application Modernization, announced today that it was awarded the Enterprise SOA Governance portion of the General Services Administration's Federal Acquisition Service (FAS) Applications, Maintenance, and Enhancements (FAME) contract. This multi-year contract was awarded to Silicon Spirit by Booz Allen Hamilton, a strategic partner to prime contractor Lockheed Martin.
Silicon Spirit architect/s will be responsible for ensuring that the design and development for the GSA FAS SOA application modernization effort follows solid business process management principles and that there are no gaps in the business architecture which would adversely impact the modernization baseline. In addition, Silicon Spirit will define and enforce SOA governance based on business process management (BPM) and business rules management (BRM) frameworks and policies; lead data architecture and IT strategy efforts, participating in data strategy meetings; and provide mentoring to more junior staff members.
